Individual Therapy in Phoenix

With individual therapy, there’s no need to feel intimidated. You are not walking into a room filled with strangers. You’ll be in a room with only me, your experienced therapist. In individual therapy sessions, you can develop a feeling of trust and overcome the fear. It’s just you and me talking.

When we’re in a private therapy session, you’re the sole focus of my attention. My approach is non-judgmental and nurturing. There’s no one more deserving of help and compassion than someone who wants to feel better.

Individual Therapy

You Deserve Help and Compassion

It’s so frustrating to struggle in a world where it feels like everyone else is happy and going places with their lives. It’s a very lonely existence, especially when surrounded by people that don’t get what’s going on. Stress and worry swallow up so much energy every day. You wonder if you’ll ever feel content or confident.

Find Reassurance with Individual Therapy

Although the experience may elicit some pain, know that your struggle is accepted and totally normal. When you’re the only client in the room, you don’t have to worry about the judgment of others. Being in a non-judgmental environment supports the bravery and courage needed to unpack the details that have brought your pain to this level.

I will provide you with a calm and reassuring presence, which can help you lower your anxiety and stress.

Your Struggle is Unique

It’s my goal to help you. Some of the situations I’ve helped clients resolve include problems in relationships, difficulty moving on from traumatic past experiences, and feeling frustrated without a clear explanation.

Somatic Experiencing™ and EMDR Therapy

If talk therapy just hasn’t worked for you in the past, I also have training and expertise in several different methods. Methodologies like Somatic Experiencing™ and EMDR Therapy have helped my clients heal their psychological and emotional wounds.

Somatic Experiencing™

Somatic Experiencing therapy focuses on restoring balance to one’s nervous system. If you’ve tried talk therapy but didn’t feel better, this approach may hold some answers for you.

EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy helps my clients who feel intense anxiety and are faced with an activity (or anything related to that activity) that they want to avoid.

Whatever methods we use, you’ll be in a room with only me, your experienced therapist.
